3/20/2020 – Statement Regarding COVID-19 and California Stay at Home order

To our customers and suppliers,

We continue to receive many inquiries about GS Polymers’ operational status.  The following is our update as of 3/20/2020.

Based on the most recent mandate by our California State Officials, employees of non-essential businesses have been instructed to stay at home.  Only companies that provide Critical Infrastructure should remain open for business.  A listing of those sectors can be found at https://www.cisa.gov/identifying-critical-infrastructure-during-covid-19, which is cited in the 3/19/2020 Stay at Home order from the California Governor’s Office found https://www.gov.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/3.19.20-attested-EO-N-33-20-COVID-19-HEALTH-ORDER.pdf

As a chemical manufacturer, GS Polymers Inc is an essential business, that supplies chemical products into many of the other listed sectors.  Due to the variety of Critical Infrastructure Industries we supply and support, including pharmaceutical production, water filtration, food production, energy transmission, transportation , GS Polymers continues to maintain operations within WHO and CDC guidelines.  This responsibility is taken very seriously and we continue to operate with strategies to maintain social distancing, hygiene practices and telecommuting of almost all of our staff members not directly involved in production.  Our team is in constant communication with each other.  We remain flexible, responsive, and supportive as we navigate this constantly changing landscape.

We are also receiving notices of company closures and this is very helpful for our forecasting and prioritizing workflow.  Thank you to those who have sent us notices and please do not hesitate to reach out with any updates.  Should you have outstanding orders with GS Polymers, updated requirements, or your company’s operational status changes, please let our customer service know so we can respond accordingly.  orders@nullgspolymers.com.

Once again thank you for your support.  We are all in this together and will work towards better days.
